The plan you can still make

You have not missed the bank holiday. You just have not picked the road yet.

Leave work, collect Van Tropez in Chertsey and wake up somewhere that feels properly away. The automatic orange VW carries the beds, kitchen, fridge, water and shelter, so a couple or small family can turn one free bank-holiday window into a memorable British road trip without assembling a cupboard full of camping kit.

Made for couples, close friends and small families in Surrey and West London who can commit to four to six nights, clear the driver paperwork quickly and secure their own campsites.

One van, properly known

Adventure outside. A capable little home inside.

Out of London before the weekend starts

Collect in Chertsey on Thursday 27 or Friday 28 August and head south, west or north without first crossing central London.

A real camper, already assembled

Five belted seats, four berths, pop-top, awning, fridge, running water and a two-ring hob turn arrival into the beginning of the break.

British-weather confidence

Indoor cooking, full blinds and a programmable diesel heater mean a cooler evening or passing shower does not cancel the trip.

One owner-led handover

Digital orientation comes first, then a focused personal walkthrough of the actual van so you can leave confidently and return once.

Three bank-holiday shapes

Choose a direction before everyone else chooses a room.

These are inspiring route frameworks, not fixed tours. You book the campsites and can simplify the route around availability, weather and the pace your group enjoys.

A natural four-night escape

New Forest to the Jurassic Coast

Start among the ponies and woodland of the New Forest, then take one measured move toward Dorset for coastal walks, sea air and a final night within easy reach of Chertsey.

  • Strong first campervan route for couples or a small family
  • Two bases keep the weekend restorative
  • Book formal campsites before departure

Good questions, answered plainly

Before you picture the first morning.

The final agreement, insurer approval and trip documents control the booking. These answers explain how the proposition is designed.

Which exact date combinations can I book?+

The core options are 28 August to 1 September for four nights; 27 August to 1 September or 28 August to 2 September for five nights; and 27 August to 2 September for all six nights.

Is Van Tropez suitable for a family?+

The van has five belted seats and four berths. It works particularly well for a couple or small family whose luggage fits the measured storage; we confirm the passenger and sleeping setup before booking.

What if the forecast changes?+

That is precisely where a campervan earns its keep. You can alter the direction within the agreed UK mileage, cook inside and use the heater, while still following campsite booking and cancellation rules.

Are campsites included or already reserved?+

No. You remain in control of campsite bookings. We can point you toward credible areas and practical first options, but availability must be secured directly before departure.

Can I collect at Heathrow Long Stay?+

Chertsey is the default for this local, time-sensitive offer because it keeps the handover simple. A scheduled Heathrow Long Stay handover may be possible only if agreed before the booking.

Can we take the van to Europe?+

Not under this fixed bank-holiday package. It is designed as a focused UK escape with a predictable return; the longer propositions cover approved European trips.

How late can we book?+

Only while there is enough time to approve every driver, complete the agreement and payment, and conduct the handover properly. The first fully qualified paid booking gets the single available window.
